There's a nice beach landing. The site is elevated and has nice views of the lake. Unfortunately someone took it upon themselves to cut down a large pile of trees. Why they cut these tree's down is unknown as it is in a sloped area and they cut them 4-6" off the ground. The pile of tree's are stacked directly behind the one good tent pad. Sad sight to see. There is also an area back in the woods that was cleared out for what appears to be a hammock camper as the two larger trees where marred up from their hammock straps. The sight is very dusty and uneven. Good fishing can be had all over this lake and there are plenty of walleye around this camp.

Although I only visited the site, it is not a 4-star site. It is open so shade is at a premium and tarping the kitchen will be difficult. The kitchen grate is too high and the seating logs are small and unstable. The tent sites are right behind the kitchen.

This was my groups home for 4 days. Site could fit two tents with comfort (4 person and 2 person). Minimal mature tree cover made tying up laundry lines/hammock slightly more challenging. Campfire setup was excellent. Beautiful sunset views over the small bay. Beach was well exposed this time of year which made landing a breeze. Nice tree down by shore too for stringing up a bear line.

Have used this site in 2012 and visited again briefly in 2017. In 2012, we had 3 personal tents and a gear tent, and the site accommodated that fine. Great food-hanging/bear tree at the end of a great canoe landing beach. Short, easy trail to latrine. During low-average water levels, great length of exposed shore for shore fishing. Not many trees for tying up clotheslines and things. Outstanding view from fire grate/kitchen area. Campsite somewhat exposed with little overhead cover. Overall, great site.

This site provides semi-seclusion on a busy lake. There are two good tent pads, and you could fit one more in. The landing is a small sandy/gravel area.
