It is right on a busy portage amid some red pines. It is a little overgrown, probably because of the undesirable location, otherwise it is OK. It would normally be a 3-star (average) site, but the location is not great.

High, breezy, open with lots of good tarp & hammock trees. Plenty of room for large groups. Just off the main portage trail, so lots of traffic. Good last night stop on the way out if needing to drive a long ways home.
