Excellent site, especially perfect for our group (5 kids ages 4 to 10). The fire did not affect this campsite or the nearby shoreline. Flat rock expanses up and down the shoreline that the kids loved running on. There is a large sand beach just a short walk up the shore. Good view from the kitchen. There are a few nice tent pads - one very nice one and a couple of other decent (but not perfect) pads. If you take the trail past the latrine, you will come to the rapids behind the site - too shallow for much fishing, but a nice place to visit. The only downside to the site was that it was too shallow in front of the site for fishing from shore. Overall, though, it was a perfect site for our group.

Looks nice from the water. (It was occupied) Lots of large live trees; no apparent damage from the fire.
